Official Bio
Kimbriah L. Alfrenar is a seventeen-year-old student working through her last year of high school (finally!) with aspirations of graduating with her AA degree already completed. She lives in Florida with her parents and younger brother, where she began playing piano at the age of five. She has been passionate about reading since she was a young girl and is hoping to ignite that passion in other young kids with her writing. Her interest in writing was born from her love of reading and has helped her by introducing her to new and different styles of writing. She began writing her first book at the age of nine and published it at the age of twelve with encouragement from her parents. Other than reading and writing, she has developed a love for drawing after watching one of her close friends draw in elementary school. She eventually asked for her own sketchbook and began to practice her art skills. In tenth grade, she discovered her talent for drawing realistic portraits and ended up winning the Award of Excellence with Distinction in an online competition hosted by the Florida Art Education Association with a self-portrait she made in her art class.
As a young devoted Christian, Kimbriah loves going to church and absorbs all of her pastor's teachings. She is working toward developing a better prayer life and makes sure to read her Bible every day. Now an author of three books, with another piece also published in an anthology, Kimbriah is thankful to God for the gift that He gave her and is hoping to glorify Him in every single book that she writes.
